Ensembles and Events
Annie and the Oakleys will be playing with Allison Jonjak calling the dances. NorthWoods Strings students also have been graciously invited to play some tunes with the band. What a cool opportunity! Support our area musicians and come and enjoy family fun as we learn to hoedown. This programing is available for all current NWS students and also to other interested students and community members.
Coffee House Tuesday October 17th 6pm at HACIL: NorthWoods Strings students can treat their friends and family to an evening of wonderful music! This event is free for the community, however audience members may choose to bring a donation of a non-perishable food item to donate to our local food shelf. Guests will enjoy light refreshments as our students have the opportunity to provide a variety of background music including solos and small groups with their friends. All ages and abilities are welcome! Students, this is a great opportunity to play a piece you have written yourself or to get a group of your family or friends to play pieces together. We will conclude with a Farmer's Market style open jam session!
