20th Anniversary Concert Saturday, April 27th at 1:00pm at HACIL in Hayward. To mark the momentous occasion of the inception of NorthWoods Strings in 2004, we are celebrating 20 years of bringing music to rural northwestern Wisconsin with a 20th Anniversary Concert. All NWS alumni are invited to come join us to play some of the greatest highlights of our past performances. Mark your calendars and we hope to see you there!
NorthWoods Strings students can treat their friends and family to an evening of wonderful music! This event is free to the community, however our audience members may bring a donation of a non-perishable food item to donate to our local food shelf. Guests will enjoy light refreshments as our students have the opportunity to provide a variety of background music including solos and small groups with their friends. All ages and abilities are welcome! Students, this is a great opportunity to play a piece you have written yourself or to get a group of your family or friends to play pieces together. We will conclude with a Farmer's Market style open jam session.
Fiddle Fest is coming on Saturday, January 6th! Arrive at 2pm at the Sawmill in Seeley and get ready for toe tapping music that makes you want to get up and dance. It’s fun for the whole family! NorthWoods Strings students have been invited to play again this year, so come enjoy our amazing local musicians and tasty food at the Sawmill!
Annie and the Oakleys will be playing with Allison Jonjak calling the dances. NorthWoods Strings students also have been graciously invited to play some tunes with the band. What a cool opportunity! Support our area musicians and come and enjoy family fun as we learn to hoedown. This programing is available for all current NWS students and also to other interested students and community members.

Our 2023-24 programing includes both in person and online private lessons with our quality staff. In addition, we offer in person events that are opportunities for our students to interact, build community, and enjoy the journey of learning music together.
