Fall Fun Day at HACIL- Saturday, November 8th at 10:00am Come play with us! NorthWoods Strings is holding an interactive workshop for all levels to gain experience playing with other musicians. Fun and relaxed - it's an opportunity to meet other musicians and learn the joy of playing as an ensemble.
Coffee House and Jam Session at HACIL - Tuesday, October 21st 6pm You are invited to join us at the Hayward Center for Individualized Learning for a cup of coffee and music! This event is a relaxed atmosphere where students and families can enjoy playing original music, solos, or share duet or trio music together. The evening concludes with a rousing open jam session. Free to the public. Donations of non perishable items for the Hayward Community Food Shelf are welcomed!
Annie and the Oakleys Hoedown Saturday, October 11th at 7pm NorthWoods Strings is grateful to Annie and the Oakleys for the invitation to join them in performing with their band at the Stone Lake Lions' Hall on Saturday, October 11th at 7:00pm. Students and families alike are welcome to enjoy the music and dancing. The hoedown is a great event that combines youth and adult musicians with members of the community and connects this wonderful music with the next generation. Energetic music and a warmly welcoming atmosphere invites even first time dancers to feel comfortable learning and have a great time!
