August 14th - 6-8PM - Registration - Hayward Wesleyan Church
It's time to play. Come and get registered for the season. Schedule your lessons, get sized for an instrument, meet back up with old friends.
August 28th - 6-8PM - Make Up Registration - Quigley Studio
Okay, you were out of town on the 14th but you still want get involved. Come on by 14979 W Chippewa Trail in Hayward and get on the list.
September 11th - YIPPEE!!!!! Everything starts - group, lessons, HOORAY!!!
September 22nd - 10-11AM - Hayward Fall Fest
Students who are playing at the McCormick House on the 23rd will be bringing their music downtown. Come on out and enjoy the music.
September 23rd - 3-5PM - McCormick House - Wine and Hors D'oeurves Fundraiser
Wouldn't it be great if a simple smile made the world go round but it doesn't. Sometimes funding is an important feature. Come out for a beautiful day at the McCormick House. Sample the wines and the food. Listen to some young and not so young performers and support the arts. This is sponsored by MarketPlace Foods, Johnson Bank, and the McCormick House
October 17th - 5-6PM - Weiss Library Benefit
Once again the NWS string players will lend their musical talents in support of the Weiss Library Book Night. There is nothing like a good book to make your day.
November 10th - 10AM - 12PM - Musical Jam - Coop's Pizza
Yes a morning of music followed by PIZZA. That's the way every day should start. You don't need to bring anything other than yourself and your instrument ... and of course a smile.
December 9th - 2-3PM - Holiday Performance - Hayward High School
A beautiful start to the holiday season. All NWS groups will be playing at this event and yes there will definitely be a sing along so don't leave your voices at home.

February 12th - joint rehearsal for all groups in the Intermediate School Cafeteria
February 16th - Jam session at Coop's Pizza - all are welcome. Playing starts at 10 AM. Pizza at noon
March 23rd - Barley Jacks workshop and performance - more information to come
April 2nd - Flash Mob - location "a secret"
April 13th - Recognition Dinner and Community Dance - Lumberjack Steakhouse - 5:30 Dinner, 7:30 Dance
April 18th - Performance for the Hayward 3rd Grade - 8:30 AM
May 11th - End of the year performance - Hunt Hill - Sarona, WI
This year the entire NWS program will be performing at the Hunt Hill Prairie Fling. With a new outside band stand, this day will rock. In addition to solo and small group performances, all ensembles will lay out their best. Don't miss out.
June 9th - Banderdinker Event
Back on a pontoon for a 3rd year. This event is wonderful. I can't say enough great things about the event or the people who run it. Don't miss out playing in the middle of a lake for an incredibly appreciative crowd of kayakers
July 27th - Cable Natural History Museum "Old Time Picnic"
An old time picnic in the woods, who could ask for a better way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Oh, I know ... it could be combined with listening to some old time music played by strolling strings. This is a fundraiser for the Museum and we are ecstatic to participate.
