NorthWoods Strings is a non-profit organization dedicated to Building a Musical Community by providing individual string instrument lessons, ensembles, and performance opportunities on the violin, viola, cello, and bass to children and adults in rural Northwestern Wisconsin.

Our next String Thing Hangout is Monday, November 30th, 4 PM, featuring Guest Artist Erin Aldridge. Join us for a whirlwind tour of musical styles and musical cultures. In addition to her presentation, Finding the Fun in Practicing, Erin will perform Henri Vieuxtemp’s “Yankee Doodle” variations. She will also answer questions. Intrigued? We would love to see you online. Please join us for this delightful hour of live music and creative pedagogy. Visit our Fall 2020 page for more information on the hangouts and registration. You can register to receive a Zoom invitation by clicking here.
